Instructions for Building a Sock Puppet

• 1 clean sock (any size or color will do)
• Scissors
• Needle and thread
• Fabric glue or a hot glue gun (optional)
• Decorations such as buttons, googly eyes, and felt (optional)

Instructions

1. Cut out two shapes for the ears from a piece of felt or another stretchy fabric. These can be any shape you like – circles, triangles, or even bunny ears.
2. Glue the ears onto the top of the sock, using fabric glue or a hot glue gun. Alternatively, you can sew the ears onto the sock using a needle and thread.
3. Glue or sew on any other decorations you want to add, such as buttons for eyes, a felt nose, or a mouth made out of embroidery floss.
4. Once all of your decorations are in place, you can start playing with your sock puppet! To make the puppet talk, simply slip your hand into the sock and move the fingers to make the mouth open and close. You can also use the fingers to move the ears and make the puppet nod
